Anand Mahindra moved by differently-abled toddler, netizens teary-eyed

Differently-abled toddler leaves Anand Mahindra and netizens teary-eyed as twitter video post shows her struggle to eat with her feet as she has no hands.

The Chairman of Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra has yet again stirred inspiration amongst netizens with his recent Twitter post on Saturday, featuring a differently-abled toddler who despite her anomaly thrives in life. The video is about 3 years old and was taken in 2016 in Russia, as per Mahindra. He says that the boy in the video reminds him of his own grandson, whom he currently is visiting. An emotional Mahindra further writes that he couldn't restrain his tears when he saw the child, who doesn't have hands and is making efforts to eat a slice of fruit with his toes at such tender age.

Netizens react to the sentiment

One of the users posted the picture of the disabled delivery man of swiggy on the comments section, saying: "Ability is greater than disability." Similarly, another wrote: "Kids always create a positive atmosphere and disability can not snatch their happiness" with an attached video of a disabled toddler. "If a human believes in himself then everything is possible. Some relationships create confidence. Some times nature does not give appropriate things but if we believe in ourselves, things work out" wrote a similar twitter user with a video of a disabled sister applying 'Tika' on her brother's forehead on Rakshabandhan. A fourth twitter user lauded Anand saying: "Your posts and thoughts reaffirm our faith in humanity, sir. Thanks for reminding us to believe in all that's good".

About the child in the video

The child in the video is named Vasilina who hails from Russia. She was born with deformed hands and was left at an orphanage in Ekaterinburg. Later, Elmira Knutzen and her husband adopted her when she was 1. Her new parents decided to document Vasilina’s activities emphasizing on the way she stands firm despite her anomaly. Since then her videos have been a source of inspiration for people across the globe.
