Anand Mahindra says he's in 'dharma sankat' as India Beat South Africa

Anand Mahindra congratulated Virat Kohli & his boys after the team registered their 11th consecutive series win over South Africa in second Test by an innings

Team India on Sunday registered its 11th consecutive series win over South Africa in the second Test by an innings and 137 runs in the second Test to clinch the three-match series at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. Chairman of Mahindra Group and business tycoon Anand Mahindra congratulated Virat Kohli and his boys over the victory on home soil. Taking to Twitter on Sunday, Anand Mahindra extended congratulated wishes to Team India.

However, on a funny note, Anand Mahindra stated that he was in a 'Dharma Sankat' (crisis) over India's victory against South Africa. Explaining his 'Dharma Sankat', the business tycoon stated that he is a bit unsure on whether he "such dominance and such fluent victories" or instead "would like to see dramatic, nail-biting finishes".

With the victory on Sunday, India also took a 2-0 lead over South Africa in the three-match Test series, bagging the top position in the World Test Championship table. India now have 200 points in their kitty, a handsome 140 points away from nearest-rival New Zealand. Skipper Virat Kohli competing in his 50th Test as a captain made a world record by leading India to their 11th consecutive series at home. He was awarded player of the match after scoring unbeaten 254 runs. After being asked to follow-on, South Africa were all-out for 189 in 67.2 overs just after the tea break.

Sachin Tendulkar hails Team India

As India overcame South Africa by an innings and 137 runs in the second Test, Sachin Tendulkar took to the micro-blogging site and congratulated the Team. In the tweet, he said that the incredible by Virat Kohli and boys led them to achieve the record. "Well played," he said in praise of the team. Meanwhile, India will now face South Africa in the third Test from October 19.
