Anand Mahindra, the chairman of Mahindra Group and India's leading business icon is known to have a very interesting twitter handle. The business icon regularly tweets interesting chat chains he receives on WhatsApp under the famous hashtag '#whatsappwonderbox'. Anand Mahindra tweeted about the benefits of the good old Indian breakfast 'idli' on Thursday and shared 'Murugan' Idli shop's reply to the American Medical Association.

Anand Mahindra's tweet brings joy to an old woman 

Anand Mahindra is one of those personalities on Twitter that has been known to use the platform to help others. The icon recently noticed an old woman from Tamil Nadu who sells idlis just for rupee 1 each and tweeted a video of hers. He was concerned about the woman's health as she was burning wood to steam her idlis. Not only did he share the video but also wished to 'invest' in her business. A day after his tweet, the BPCL Coimbatore issued an LPG connection for the lady.

Anand Mahindra replaces plastic bottles

Just a few weeks ago, Anand Mahindra shared a picture from a meeting during the KCMET scholarship selections. The picture showed plastic bottles on the table. A few Twitter users pointed out at the plastic bottles and recommended other alternatives like metal or clay bottles. The Mahindra chairman was quick to take note and shared a picture of reusable bottles and said that these bottles would be used in meetings at Mahindra Group.
