Recent concerns raised by the Northern Command

Amid the growing tensions and the recent drone attacks from Pakistan, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command, Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh addressed the press and spoke about the aforementioned issue.

He said, “We are doing everything in our power and taking every measure possible to ensure that there is peace and prosperity in the Jammu and Kashmir region and from the Pakistan side they are trying everything to disrupt the peace. Today too, inside Pakistan there are terrorist infrastructure and the running of terrorist camps from where they are continuously trying to send infiltrators. They try to provide them with weapons and further they also try to provide them with whatever they need including weaponised drones. It is just another measure they applied, but I would like to assure you that no matter what Pakistan does we will be there to stop them.”
