Kejriwal in a press conference said, "The people of Delhi are getting 24-hour power supply. The cheapest electricity is available in Delhi, but the tenants living here are not getting the benefit of it. In many places, landlords were giving electricity to the tenants expensively. Till now the law required the tenant to obtain permission from the landlord to take the meter. The 'Mukhyamantri Kirayedaar Bijli Meter Yojna' will now provide the tenant with new prepaid electricity meters."
