At 6.1 deg Celsius, Muzaffarnagar coldest in UP

Cold conditions occurred at isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh on Sunday with Muzaffarnagar at 6.1 degrees Celsius being the coldest place in the state.

Cold conditions occurred at isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh on Sunday with Muzaffarnagar at 6.1 degrees Celsius being the coldest place in the state. Meerut and Etawah recorded a minimum temperature of 6.8 degrees Celsius.

According to the meteorological department, state capital Lucknow recorded a minimum temperature of 11.7 degrees Celsius and a high of 18.2 degrees Celsius. Dense to very dense fog occurred at isolated places over the state.

Weather is most likely to remain dry, and shallow to moderate fog is very likely at few places on Monday morning with dense fog at isolated places, the weatherman forecast.
