Babul Supriyo to WB CM: 'Maa, Maati, Manush' mean anything to you?

A day after the killing of RSS worker, his pregnant wife and their eight-year-old child in West Bengal's Murshidabad, BJP Member of Parliament from Asansol Babul Supriyo, calling out Mamata Banerjee for her lack of inaction tweeted,

"Which side is Bengal moving towards ?? #MamataBanerjee Does 'Maa, Maati, Manush' mean anything to you? Did we want this Bengal? Where we worship Durga and Kali Maa and on the other side a mother along with her child is put to death." The MP from Asansol further retweeted a video posted by BJP spokesperson Dr Sambit Patra. The BJP spokesperson tweeting the horrific video had posted, “this has shaken my conscience ...a RSS worker Sh Bondhu Prakash Pal, his eight months pregnant wife & his kid were brutally slaughtered in West Bengal’s Murshidabad. Not a word by the liberals Not a letter by 59 liberals to Mamata Nauseating Selectivism! (sic)”

The BJP and the RSS have announced a protest march

The BJP and the RSS have announced a protest march in the district on Thursday. The RSS and the BJP have alleged that the worker along with his wife and child were killed due to free-hand given to culprits under TMC's rule. They have also questioned the law and order situation in the state of West Bengal under Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Political killings in West Bengal have been rampant since the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

'Murdered by unidentified miscreants'

Detailing about the brutal murder, a senior police officer said the family and the RSS worker were "murdered by unidentified miscreants". The bodies of the RSS worker identified as Bondhu Gopal Pal, a 35-year-old primary school teacher, his wife Beauty and son were found lying in a pool of blood inside their residence on Tuesday in Jiaganj area of the district, the officer said.

'What is happening in your rule, didi?'

BJP's WB unit chief Kailash Vijayavargiya took to Twitter and asked CM Mamata Banerjee about the law and order situation in the state. He wrote: "RSS Activist, his pregnant wife and 8-year-old child were brutally murdered! Where the life of the common man is not safe, how should the law and order of that state be considered good? What is happening in your rule, didi?" BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra has also shared a video of the brutal incident, slamming the TMC government.

'The situation is very tense'

West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh reacted to the gruesome murder of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) worker Bondhu Gopal Pal, his pregnant wife and their eight-year-old son in Murshidabad district on October 10. Speaking to Republic TV, Ghosh said, "The way in which this sad incident has taken place in Murshidabad along with the other similar murder incidents of BJP workers in the past few days, shows the poor condition of law and order in the state and the situation is very tense."
