Bengaluru's U-25 club releases campaign to bring Barack Obama for Youth Summit

A campaign has been launched by an organisation - Bengaluru's U-25 Club - which is hoping to bring the two-time United States of India (USA) President Barack Obama for the keynote of a youth summit in the city.

The 'Under 25 Summit', which is India's largest youth festival, is hoping to rope in Obama as the brand ambassador for the 2019 edition, and for that, a social media campaign on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube has been formed.

‘Dear Obama’ is an open letter from the youngsters across India to Barack Obama in the form of a video. This video visually and verbally illustrates the multiple reasons why the youth of India needs him to come to India. ‘Dear Obama’ includes hundreds of bytes from the creative youth including top influencers from across the country. The movement is represented using the #ObamaForKeynote. With the video and this hashtag, the club aims to hit millions of impressions across the world on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube.

Under 25 is a media and entertainment company that creates specifically curated experiences for the youth of our country. Their is to be able to create a communal voice for the youngsters in India to be able to learn, explore, converse and share with one another.

The summit has been held in cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Mu,bai and Hyderabad and has witnessed a crowd in excess of 30,000 in the past five years.

Across two Days, the Under 25 Summit ’19 will have multiple specifically curated workshops and experience zones with 80+ speakers for more than 15,000 attendees. This year in collaboration with One Digital Entertainment, they are aiming to catapult the standard through the roof by inviting former US president, Barack Obama as the keynote speaker for the Summit. They believe that Barack Obama is the perfect individual to ambassador this goal of ours and this is exactly why he is needed here in India.
