Bihar STET 2019 and PEHIT 2019: Apply soon!

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), the apex board for government exams for instructors in the state of Bihar, has recently started the online application process for the Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) on their website. It is a qualification exam.  A test for physical education instructors called the Physical Education and Health Ability Test (PEHIT) 2019 is also going to be conducted by the board. The deadline for applying for Bihar STET is next week, September 18, 2019, making the window within which candidates must apply fairly short. The Bihar STET essentially comprises of two papers. The first one will be conducted to ascertain the ability of the teachers vying for selection in secondary education and the second paper is to be attempted by teachers who wish to teach in higher secondary departments across the state. The Council has announced the creation of approximately 25,300 teaching positions at the secondary level (grades 9 and 10) and around 12,100 teaching positions at the higher secondary level (grades 11 and 12).
