When asked about Shiv Sena leader, Sanjay Raut's statement about seat-sharing in the alliance to be tougher than an India-Pakistan match, Chandrakant Patil said, "Raut is a good writer so he gives such examples but working out the seat-sharing formula will not be that difficult."

Earlier in the day, Sanjay Raut told ANI, "Maharashtra is a big state. The sharing of 288 seats is a bigger exercise than the India-Pakistan partition. Had we sat in Opposition instead of being in govt the picture today would have been different."

Sanjay Raut's statement on seat-sharing between the Shiv Sena and BJP comes not even a month before the Maharashtra polls. Maharashtra and Shiv Sena will be contesting the polls under a coalition.
