CRPF Calls Out Vile And Fake Kashmir Propaganda On Twitter, Busts Malicious Attempt With Scorching Statement

Even as the government, the Home Ministry, the state Police in Jammu and Kashmir and Republic TV ground report shows that there has been absolute peace in Jammu and Kashmir, mischievious elements are continuously propagating fake news. Calling out the fake news peddled regarding the situation of Kashmir after abrogation of Article 370, now CRPF has said that these are 'baseless and untrue'. The CRPF clarified that security forces are working for bonhomie in the state. Earlier in the day, Republic TV  showed pictures from the ground in which security forces were seen celebrating Eid with locals. Additionally, NSA Ajit Doval is also celebrating Eid with locals in Srinagar.

The CRPF spokeperson also called out the attempt to show that Indian forces are divided:

Republic TV has been live from the various parts of the state where people have been celebrating Eid. Visuals show security officials distributing sweets and celebrating the festivities with people. "Everything is peaceful. The restriction have eased and there has been lot of improvement in public and transport movement," Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Shahid Iqbal Choudhary said. Home Ministry statement:

Home Ministry gave a detailed report of celebration in the valley on Monday. It said that prayers were offered peacefully in the various districts giving exact stats, it also said that approximately 10,000 people were present to offer prayers at Jamia Masjid in Baramulla. The Home Ministry shared pictures of CRPF jawans and Jammu and Kashmir Police sharing sweets and smiles with the locals on the occasion of Eid. It also said that keeping in view the mischief of some elements, reasonable restrictions has been in place.
