Defence Minister Rajnath Singh takes on Rahul Gandhi over his mockery on armed forces celebrating International Yoga Day. Here's what he said

Responding to Congress chief Rahul Gandhi's mocking tweet on the celebration of International Yoga Day where the BSF jawans were seen performing Yoga along with the dog unit, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has said that if someone criticises the forces again and again then one must pray that he gets good wisdom.

Responding to Congress chief Rahul Gandhi's mocking tweet on the celebration of International Yoga Day where the BSF jawans were seen performing Yoga along with the dog unit, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has said that if someone criticises the forces again and again then one must pray that he gets good wisdom. 

Taking to Twitter, the Defence Minister said that he is responding the Congress chief with all respect but he should understand that they contribute to the safety of the nation.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that Congress stands for negativity as it backs the medieval practice of Triple Talaq and insults our forces on International Yoga day.

Tejasvi Surya, BJP MP from Bengaluru South said that he has insulted the forces and has not learned any lesson even after the poll debacle faced by his Congress party in Lok Sabha election. Slamming the Congress chief, Surya who is also the youth wing leader of BJP said that Rahul Gandhi has not only insulted the forces, the army, incredible dog unit but also the Yoga tradition of our country.  

On June 21, the world celebrated Yoga Day with fervour and zeal. Security forces around the country celebrated Yoga Day. Even the world celebrated Yoga Day with Nepal and Sri Lanka making special arrangements for it. The United Nations (UN) had extensive arrangements for Yoga Day, in case of rains. 

Overlooking the massive support and enthusiasm that has made Yoga a festival at an international level, Rahul Gandhi who is still undecided on who will lead his party after he resigns has mocked the Day.  Posting a picture of the Indian army performing Yoga along with its dog unit, Rahul Gandhi on June 21 tweeted it with a caption 'New India'. His comment comes as an insult to the brave forces and the incredible dog unit of the army.
