ESCALATION: AAP joins BJP vs Congress rap-attack battle with meme of its own

It appears that the Indian Twitter is witnessing a rap battle between the BJP and the Congress after the former posted a smashing rap video based on Gully Boy songs where it attacked the Congress recalling the many scams the UPA government has been accused of.

The Congress also brought its A-game on the micro-blogging platform and posted a note-worthy reaction.

Meanwhile, the AAP has entered the arena with its own sarcastic tweet.

Watching the Twitter war between the BJP and Congress, the party has positioned itself as a keen audience enjoying the drama using a viral meme.

The meme it has well-known comedian and TV show host from 'The Late Show ' Stephen Colbert.

In the BJP's rap video, the party turns the table on Kanhaiya Kumar and the Congress as the song begins with the Azaadi chants reminiscent of the Azaadi song by Kanhaiya Kumar which gone viral, except the lyrics go "Azaadi" - with the text displaying the chant "Congress se Azaadi".

The rap begins immediately attacking the Congress calling it 'Notonki Sarkar," accusing it of corruption and showing the multiple scams the Congress government has been accused of.

The Congress too posted a similar video where it used Kanhaiya Kumar's viral song Azaadi as the opening in the rap video and followed it with its allegations against the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, including the often used "Chowkidaar Chor He" phrase.

The video ends with Rahul Gandhi's call for unity against the nation's ill.
