Hours before former President Pranab Mukherjee’s valedictory speech at an RSS conference, Republic TV has accessed the inside track of his speech. Source have told Republic TV that Mukherjee would read out a 25-page-long speech and speak on the contribution of RSS in culture of India.

Since the time, Mukherjee accepted the invite for the valedictory function, the Opposition slammed ad questioned his move. Reacting on the Opposition’s take on the former President’s visit to the RSS conference, the organisation’s general secretary Manmohan Vaidya said there is nothing controversial about Mukherjee’s visit.

EVEN AS MUKHERJEE’S MOVE CONTINUES TO DRAW FLAK FROM HIS OWN PARTY, HERE’S ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HIS SPEECH:

  • It’s going to be a 25-page-long speech and Pranab Mukherjee is expected to speak for 25 to 35 minutes.
  • He is expected to begin his speech with the importance of Indian Constitution and how it should be adhered to.
  • Sources are also saying that Mukherjee could take a dig at the people who have gone against the Constitution and spreading anarchy in the political discourse.
  • In his speech, he would speak on the social contribution of RSS in the culture of India.
  • The former President is also expected to speak on the work done by the RSS he feels is important in the field of child development.
  • Pranab Mukherjee is also expected to touch the issue of women empowerment and its importance in today’s society.

On June 2, Pranab Mukherjee had broken his silence and said in a veiled response that all queries will be answered once he speaks in Nagpur.

“Whatever I have to say, I will say in Nagpur. I have received several letters and phone calls but I haven't responded to anyone yet," Mukherjee was quoted as saying by Bengali daily Anandabazar Patrika.

 The former president will address the Third Year Sangha Shiksha Varga (SSV), which is held in the RSS headquarters annually in Nagpur.
