A fire has reportedly broken on the second floor, at the Emergency Department of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) hospital in New Delhi. 

According to reports, the fire broke out due to a short circuit and at present, six fire tenders have been sent on location.

22 fire tenders rushed to the AIIMS; emergency lab at AIIMS has been shut after a fire broke out near the emergency ward. 

The situation at AIIMS is under control. 

As per the Fire Officer, the block where fire broke out, mainly consists of doctors room, research lab and so on 

A total of 34 fire tenders are present at the spot.
