Goa BJP MLA Glenn Tilco' son Kyle Tilco was booked for a road rage case in Belagavi district of Karnataka on Tuesday, October 9, and later let off on station bail. The BJP legislator's son is in deep trouble after he allegedly mowed down three girls on National Highway 4 on Monday. Eighteen-year-old Tehaniyath succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday. Her sister Tamreeen is said to be recuperating in a private hospital in Belagavi.

Republic TV has accessed the FIR filed in the road rage case. According to the report, on September 8th at around 5:20 pm, a BMW car bearing the registration no.GA-03-UD-0678 was reportedly over speeding on NH4.

The car was speeding near the fruit market at Azad Nagar towards Ujwal Nagar. It was that time when sisters 20-year-old Tamreen Khalid Bisti and 18-year-old Tehaniyath Wahid Bisti were crossing the road. The speeding BMW car mowed the girls down.

Following the accident, some residents reportedly gathered around the car and took Kyle Tilco to the task. Enraged residents pelted stones on the car and set it ablaze. Some reports suggest that Kyle was also beaten up by the residents. A complaint was registered in Belagavi North Traffic police station.

Belagavi police commissioner D C Rajappa spoke to Republic TV on the case and said, " The accident took place at around 5:15 pm. We booked a case against him under relevant sections of the IPC. He has also registered a counter complaint against some residents who set his car ablaze. We've arrested seven people in this regard. He was given a station bail today."

Cops said that Kyle was sent for a medical test after he was detained. While the BJP legislator's son is out on bail. In a similar incident, recently Kollywood actor Vikram's son Dhruv was booked for rash driving and allegedly ramming into three vehicles. Reports suggested that Dhruv was with two more people, one of whom argued with the police and refused to sit in the police vehicle. Under pressure from the media, the police were forced to take action against the actor's son.
