Earlier, Ministers have come forward to rescue accident victims. Back in April last year, Energy Minister DK Shivkumar came to help an accident victim by getting him first aid, along with that with the help of his officials cleared the road by removing broken glasses scattered around.

The incident occurred in Bengaluru when the Minister noticed a tumbled car and got out of the car to help the driver who was minorly injured.
