Here's Why Anil Kapoor Just Gave A Huge Endorsement To PM Narendra Modi, Read Here

The Dev Diwali celebrations in Varanasi were just as grand as it is every year. However, the highlight of the festival was that the 'Mr India' actor Anil Kapoor was present among the crowd. 

Anil Kapoor enthusiastically took part in the festive celebrations at the Dashashwamedh Ghat. The actor had travelled to Varanasi to host an event where he greeted the pople at the ghat with a namaskar and also performed Ganga Aarti.

From the pictures shared by the actor on his official Twitter handle, the actor looks dapper in an embroidered off-white jacket and pyjama-kurta. Also, considering that Varanasi is Prime minister Narendra Modi's Lok Sabha constituency, the actor hit out a huge endorsement for him stating that he is having a 'blessed experience at transformed Varanasi'.

The actor soon after that hit out another tweet stating that the Ganga Aarti at the ghats, was definitely the highlight of his trip to Varanasi.

Anil Kapoor was there as a part of an event which was also attended by UP Governor Ram Naik, Union Minister Piyush Goel, UP CM Yogi Adityanath and Rita Bahuguna Joshi, among others. Sufi and Bollywood singer Harshdeep Kaur also performed at the occasion.

On the work front, Anil Kapoor was last seen in the Atul Manjrekar's musical drama titled, 'Fanney Khan' which hit the silver screen on August 3, 2018. Based on 2002 Belgian film, 'Everybody's Famous!' the film also starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles. Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor is also roped in for Karan Johar's upcoming epic-drama 'Takht', that is scheduled to release on 2020.
