Union Minister Smriti Irani has posted a hilarious Game of Thrones-inspired video to demonstrate her disdain for Mondays.

Taking to Instagram, the minister has shared a video that essentially contains every scene from the super-hit HBO show where Prince (later King) Joffrey Baratheon gets hit.

In each of the posts, Joffrey, who is the representation of Monday, tries to impose its will on someone. However, that someone - either his uncle Tyrion Lannister or his mother Cersei Lannister - end up slapping him. The one who does the slapping is the people, the minister says.

Smriti Irani regularly shares irreverent posts on Instagram. Just a day earlier she had shared a hilarious 'Working on Sunday' look:

And a week earlier, there was a post that accurately captured that end-of-Sunday doom and gloom that we all feel, this time using a reference to the Simpsons:

Perhaps the funniest video she has shared where she takes on Monday and the rest of the work-week involves a clip from the iconic Tom and Jerry. In this particular video, it is Tom who is in the ascendency, taking advantage of the ferocious bulldog, Spike, being collared and chained to a post (note - Spike almost always gets back at Tom at the end, with a little help from Jerry)

And she clearly doesn't discriminate in terms of which day she picks on. Here's a Game of Thrones post hitting out at Tuesdays:

The final season of Game of Thrones releases on April 14. No doubt Smriti Irani will be looking forward!
