The Kashmir Police took to Twitter on Wednesday and informed that the Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Aijaz Malik has been killed by them. Malik has been active in Jammu and Kashmir since 2018 and he was recently involved in the killings of a truck driver in the Bijbehara area of Anantnag district. The police also reiterated in their tweet that this incident proves the involvement of Hizbul Mujahideen in terror crime.
Killed #terrorist identified as # Aijaz Malik of Hizbul Mujahideen. Was #active since 2018. Involved in the #killing of truck driver at #Bijbehara. This establishes #complicity of Hizbul in the terror crime. @JmuKmrPolice https://t.co/hJJpJdv9mm— Kashmir Zone Police (@KashmirPolice) October 30, 2019
A few days ago, on October 28, Kashmir police notified people via their Twitter handle that a terrorist fired on a civilian in the Bijbehara area of Anantnag. They later gave out the details of the firing and said that the civilian (later identified as a truck driver) was dead, and the police were in the search of the terrorists. The series of those tweets are given below.
Apart from this, the terrorists killed six labourers from West Bengal's Murshidabad in the Kulgam town on Wednesday evening. This was the sixth attack on non-Kashmiris in the past two weeks. Pakistan backed terrorists have focused their attacks on non-locals in Kashmir in order to disturb the situation in the valley. The targeted attacks on non-locals in Kashmir came amid the visit of European Union MPs to assess the situation on the ground in the valley.
