The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which is in power in the National Capital, inaugurated a cricket academy in a government school in Delhi, hoping to find the next Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni or Mithali Raj from there.

In a post shared by the Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, he could be seen interacting with the budding cricketers and posing in a photo with them. His Twitter post read, "After a Lawn Tennis academy, we're proud to bring a Cricket academy in a #DelhiGovtSchool of Delhi! I wish the best to all students & hope that the next Sachin Tendulkar, Dhoni and Mithali Raj are from this academy!"

The party also posted about it, wherein they informed that cricket coaching to students of the government school shall be given for free. "Delhi @minister_edu @msisodia inaugurates a Cricket Academy in a #DelhiGovtSchools in Preet vihar. Private coaches will use Govt school premises to run their coaching on condition that minimum half of the kids will be of Delhi Govt Schools (for free)," party's Twitter message read.

AAP has been very active on social media when it comes to highlighting the work they have done in Delhi, especially relating to the government institutions. Party convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, as well as a number of his colleagues have regularly taken to Twitter to post about the Mohalla clinics, education and more so.
