Almost exactly a month ago, when the country was hoping for rains, Anand Mahindra had tweeted a video on drone umbrella.

The business tycoon is an active Twitter user who often posts about innovative ideas, technologies, products and inspirational quotes and videos.

On May 28, he had tweeted a video which showed an umbrella which "uses a camera and artificial intelligence that helps in tracking and following the user as they walk down the street."

It helps the user walk handsfree and can be used during the rains as well as the sun.

Now, as monsoon has hit the country and parts of Mumbai and nearby regions saw incessant rains, this new post on yet another user-friendly ingenuously designed umbrella by the Chairman of Mahindra group really makes us also want one.

Since Mahindra asked where he could get one, someone replied to tweet giving him details about where he could buy one.

A grateful Mahindra then said that he would definitely try it out and using some self-deprecating humour said that if someone saw a strange, saucer-shaped, blue alien walking down the street it would be him.
