Union Minister Sushma Swaraj refuted the statement of a journalist who questioned her willingness to associate with the Modi government

A journalist in a speculative tweet questioned her followers about the Minister of External Affair, Swaraj’s association with the BJP government. That read- 

“Does anyone else get the sense that Sushma Swaraj doesn’t want to be associated with the Modi government and its antics anymore?”

 Swaraj instantly shot a response to this comment calling it ‘immature and a senseless statement’

On Saturday, Pakistan's Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood invited his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj, Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh and Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu to Pakistan to attend the groundbreaking ceremony at Kartarpur on November 28, 2018. Mr. Mahmood took to Twitter to extend his invitation to the three politicians. He wrote:

Responding to which in a series of tweets, Swaraj first thanked her Pakistan counterpart for the invitation, but expressed her regret for her unavailability on the scheduled date. She said that instead of her, her colleagues Mrs.Harsimrat Kaur Badal and Mr.H.S.Puri would be in attendance.
