IRCTC Things you need to know:

IRCTC's Tejas Express will run between Delhi to Lucknow starting from 5th October. It will run 6 days a week, except on Tuesdays. The train is scheduled to leave at 3.35 pm and reach Lucknow at 10.05 pm. It is the first train in IR which is a complete product of IRCTC, a first step in privatising some of Indian Railway's trains. The Delhi-Lucknow train has state of the art facilities on board. According to reports, there will also be ₹25 lakh insurance for the passengers. This is all done for the extensive promotion of the new train service in the capital.

To promote digital transactions, IRCTC's main website is holding a lucky draw amidst BHIM or UPI payers. Rail Dhristi, an initiative of the IRCTC, gives an overview of the entire rail network in earnings and movement of traffic. It acts as a directory to the IRCTC. IRCTCtourism.com provides niche holiday packages in budget within India as well as international packages.
