There are regular updates on new trains. Since the announcement of Budget 2019-2020, 42 new trains have been started or will be starting in the upcoming days. A few of the new trains are as follows.

IRCTC Things you need to know: 

IRCTC's Tejas Express will run between Delhi to Lucknow starting from 5th October. It will run 6 days a week, except on Tuesdays. The train is scheduled to leave at 3.35 pm and reach Lucknow at 10.05 pm. It is the first train in IR which is a complete product of IRCTC, a first step in privatising some of Indian Railway's trains. The Delhi-Lucknow train has state of the art facilities on board. According to reports, there will also be ₹25 lakh insurance for the passengers. This is all done for the extensive promotion of the new train service in the capital. 

To promote digital transactions, IRCTC's main website is holding a lucky draw amidst BHIM or UPI payers. Rail Dhristi, an initiative of the IRCTC, gives an overview of the entire rail network in earnings and movement of traffic.
