  • Faesal claimed that the Kashmiris across the world are mourning the 'illegal annexation' of their land.
  • He further went on to say that there would be no Eid until everything that has been 'stolen since 1947' is returned.

In a blatant call for violence, Kashmir People's Movement founder Shah Faesal in a tweet said that there is no eid until the 'last bit of insult in avenged.'

In an attempt to fearmonger, Faesal claimed that the Kashmiris across the world are mourning the 'illegal annexation' of their land.

He further went on to say that there would be "no Eid" until everything that has been 'stolen since 1947' is returned.

In an attempt to fearmonger following the integration of Kashmir, Digvijay Singh accentuated on the need to 'save Kashmir,' and said, "Go to BBC.com and see what is happening there. What I had told is becoming true. They have scorched their hands in the fire, saving Kashmir is our priority. I request the honorable Modi ji to Amit Shah ji and Ajit Doval to do whatever they want to do, otherwise, Kashmir will get out of hand," said the senior Congress leader, despite Jammu and Kashmir police giving a statement contrary to this."

Along with him, former union minister and Congress leader P Chidambaram on Sunday lambasted the BJP for the abrogation of Article 370, saying the saffron party would not have "snatched away" the special status had Jammu and Kashmir been a Hindu-dominated state. Alleging that BJP revoked the Article with its "muscle power",  he said the situation in Jammu and Kashmir was unstable and that international news agencies were covering the unrest, but not Indian media houses.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday night said the situation in the state was peaceful and no untoward incident has been reported in last one week. "There has been no untoward incident barring minor stone-pelting which was dealt with on the spot and was nipped in the bud," Director General of Police Dilbagh Singh. The government also issued a statement, saying the DGP and Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam have requested people not to believe fabricated and motivated news regarding incidents of firing in the Valley.

In an exclusive interview on Republic Bharat's LIVE broadcast 'Poochata Hai Bharat' on August 2, Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami confronted Faesal over the security advisory that was issued to Amarnath Yatris.

Speaking over Amarnath Yatra attack of 2017, Faesal said that Kashmiris are against 'any violence' however, refused to explicitly hold Pakistan responsible for the same.

He said, "We have always condemned violence against Amarnath Yatris, they are our guests. If J&K Police has said that in the investigation it was the role of Pakistan in Amarnath Yatra attack, will be in public's eye. We always believe that whosoever does violence, we are against it."
