JUST WATCH THIS: South Korean kids sing 'Vaishnav Jan To Dene' to honour PM Modi on receiving the Seoul Peace Prize

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was accorded with the Seoul Peace Prize from the South Korean government in recognition of his service to international cooperation, global growth and human development. To honour the Prime Minister of India the South Korean kids performed the favourite bhajan of Mahatma Gandhi 'Vaishnav Jan To Tene Kahiye'. The heart-melting video of the little stars performing the Bhajan was shared by Raveesh Kumar, the spokesperson of India's ministry of external affairs, on Twitter. 

Dressed in traditional Indian attire, these synchronised singers created a melody that filled the venue with rhyme and purity. The small kids in the choir stood right in centre of the stage, arms by their sides, and sang along the sweet melody of the flute.

The occasion was a state luncheon hosted by South Korean president Moon Jae-in for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is in the East Asian nation for a two-day visit. Mr Kumar shared the video and asked whether anyone has ever 'seen a more endearing rendition of Vaishnav Jan To bhajan?'. Check out the video below:

Meanwhile, on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was honoured with the Seoul Peace Prize. He is the 14th recipient of the award sponsored by the Seoul Peace Prize Foundation. Past winners include former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and international relief organisations like Doctors Without Borders and Oxfam.

PM Modi said the Seoul Peace Prize belonged not to him personally, but to the success that India had achieved in the last five years powered by the skill of 1.3 billion people. He also pledged to contribute the prize money -- $200,000 -- to the Namami Gange fund.

Moreover, a short film on the life of PM Modi was also screened at the grand event. While conferring the award, the organisers acknowledged his policies such as the notes ban that it said contributed to the growth of the economy.

The Seoul Peace Prize was established in 1990 to commemorate the success of the 24th Olympic Games held in Seoul. It has its genesis in the Korean people's yearning for peace in the Korean peninsula.
