Ahead of the Abhayas Varga held by BJP on Saturday in New Delhi for its MPs, lawmakers Rajyavardhan Rathore, Babul Supriyo, Manoj Tiwari and Ravi Kishan jammed together to sing their own rendition of a classic.
Asansol MP Supriyo who was a playback singer before becoming a politcian sang the Bengali version of the Kishore Kumar's classic 'Ye Shaam Mastani' as Jaipur Rural MP Rathore recorded him. Soon MP from Delhi Manoj Tiwari joined Supriyo and the trio began crooning the song. They were finally joined by Gorakhpur MP Ravi Kishen who whistled the tune along with their singing.

The Abhyas Varga has been organized for all the new lawmakers of the BJP after they won the 2019 elections. The training program will focus mainly on the discipline in some of the lawmakers. The two-day program also aims to emphasize the conduct inside and outside the parliament premises. Other things on training agenda include steps to connect with the masses and addressing issues of people within different constituencies.
However, this is not the first time a training program like this has been conducted. In 2014, post-victory the BJP had organized a two-day orientation event. Meanwhile, the party has also issued a whip to its MPs to be present in Parliament for the remainder of the Budget session, from August 5 to 7.
