Robert Vadra on Wednesday tweeted about BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya's son Akash assaulting a civic official.
'Look at the arrogance with which he is hitting him. There is no justification for this rowdy act,' he said.
Earlier on Wednesday, Republic broke the story about Bengal BJP chief Kailash Vijayawargiya's son Akash Vijayvargiya beating the civic officials with bats in Indore. Following the newsbreak, he was arrested.
Civic officials had visited an area in Madhya Pradesh's Indore to tear down a building as a part of the anti-encroachment drive. Akash was then caught on camera thrashing a civic official. He has also been recorded hurling abuses at the officials.
The police initially stood by as the incident took place. They later took control of the situation.
Without showing any remorse, Akash had said that he would not back off and since he is a voted MLA, he would do anything.
He said, "Indore Municipal Corporation is behaving like gundas, they are in tie-up with Congress leaders. I am a leader chosen by the people. I will not back off from the attack. I have been voted by the people to serve them. I will do whatever it takes even if it means lifting a bat and stopping officials. I stand by my actions."
