Iltija Mufti, daughter of former Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, on Wednesday tweeted through Mehbooba Mufti's account accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led Center government for the situation in Jammu & Kashmir post abrogation of Article 370.
She took to Twitter and alleged that the government has lost its moral moorings to invoke the development argument for J&K. In her tweet, she also posted a video by Salman Aneez Soz, member of the Indian National Congress and Vice Chairman of the All India Professionals Congress further justifying her statement.
An eye opener for those who believe abrogation of Article 370 is co-related to development. A govt that took hare brained decisions like demo, GST only to then take RBI reserves has lost its moral moorings to invoke the development argument for J&K https://t.co/0JvFCrOYJl— Mehbooba Mufti (@MehboobaMufti) October 9, 2019
In his video, Salman Soz opined about the Centre's decision of abrogation of Article 370 in J&K. He spoke about the Human development index of the country.
Meanwhile, the Centre has stated that the situation in Kashmir is slowly being restored back to normalcy. On Sunday, the weekly flea market in Srinagar had attracted a large number of vendors, who set up their stalls, in spite of various main markets and other business establishments still shut, according to PTI.
