In a significant breakthrough in the Pulwama terror attack in which 40 CRPF soldiers were martyred in a suicide bombing perpetrated by Pakistan-backed JeM terror outfit, the NIA on Monday (National Investigation Agency) has identified the crucial details related to the vehicle used in the attack and its owner.

Scrutinizing the remnants of the vehicles that the JeM suicide bomber was driving (which he rammed the car into the bus carrying CRPF soldiers) from the site of the attack, the NIA investigators, with the support of forensic and automobile experts have identified the vehicle to be a Maruti Eeco car.

The owner of the Maruti Eeco car, having Chassis number MA3ERLF1SOO183735, Engine G12BN164140, has been identified as Sajjad Bhatt, son of Md Maqbool Bhat and resident of Bijbehara, Anantnag district. As per the reports, the Maruti Eeco, that was used in Pulwama attack, was sold to Md Jaleel Ahmed Haqqani a resident of Heaven colony, Anantnag in the year 201.
