'No one is above law of the land': KTR tweets as Telangana govt forced to act against its MLA's brother after sickening attack on lady Forest Officer

KT Rama Rao who is the son of KCR, chief minister of Telangana, has reacted after the TRS government was forced to act in the horrific incident where a female forest range officer Anitha was allegedly attacked in Sirpur, Telangana by a mob led by party's MLA Koneru Konappa's brother Krishna.

The MLA has said that he strongly condemned the 'atrocious behaviour' of Koneru Krishna and said that he has been arrested and a against him was registered. He said that no one was above law of the land.

In the visuals, it shows the mob attacking the officer who is standing atop a tractor with lathis. The security forces later come and try to bring the situation under control. Anitha had identified Krishna as the man who hit her and led the mob, and claimed that he is the brother of TRS MLA.

She had said that she was there to supervise a plantation drive for an afforestation programme. The degraded forest land was selected by Forest Department for raising of compensatory afforestation plantation for Kaleshwaram project.

The official letter by the forest officer has said that few villagers of Sarsala arrived in mob and started using filthy language and also attacked Forest Range officer Anitha. It clearly mentioned Konaru Krishna who is the Chairman Zila Parishad as the one attacking the Forest officer.

As per the latest information, two people including main accused Koneru Krishna have been taken into custody and cases have been filed against 14 others.   

CM KCR has questioned Krishna's brother MLA Koneru Konappa but he has said that his sibling didn't have anything to do with the attack.
