In the wake of the prevailing #MeToo movement, a video has gone viral on the social media, featuring a Karnataka woman and a man who is reported to be a bank manager. In the video, the woman is fiercely thrashing the bank manager for allegedly asking the woman to make sexual relations with him in return of sanctioning her loan. The incident had taken place in the Davanagere district of Karnataka on October 15.

The video has been recorded by onlookers in broad daylight where the Karnataka woman is taking out her anger on the man. In the video, the woman is beating the man brutally with her footwear and a huge log, while rebuking him in Kannada to teach him a lesson for allegedly sexually harassing her.

Take a look at the video posted by the news agency ANI:

With the number of cases of sexual assault against women is increasing with each passing day, the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) on Sunday urged girls and women activists to report the incidents of sexual crimes to the police and with the DCW so that offenders can be put behind bars.

While this is just a trailer, the #MeToo movement in India has brought a revolution, especially in the Hindi film industry. The movement has surfaced prominent names like Alok Nath, Rajat Kapoor, Piyush Mishra, Vikas Bahl, Sajid Khan, Subhash Ghai, and Mukesh Chabbra among others coming to the light for allegedly sexually harassing women. Apart from them,  renowned writer Chetan Bhagat has been accused of sexual misconduct by an anonymous victim after she shared screenshots of her chat with the author.
