Odisha reports 300 fresh COVID-19 cases, 4 more fatalities
Odisha reported 300 fresh COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, pushing the coastal state's tally to 3,24,389, while the death toll mounted to 1,815 with four more fatalities, a health department official said.

Of the new cases detected in 26 of the 30 districts, 174 have been registered in different quarantine centers and the remaining are local-contact infections.
Angul recorded the highest of 44 cases, followed by Khurda (36) and Sundergarh (34). Four districts - Boudh, Gajapati, Kandhamal, and Malkangiri - did not register any fresh case during the last 24 hours, he said.

2.A 60-year-old male of Mayurbhanja district who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease & Anaemia.
3.A 64-year-old male of Mayurbhanj district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension & Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

4.A 40-year-old male of Sambalpur District.
A total of 53 other COVID-19 patients have died in the state due to comorbidities, the official said.
Khurda district alone has accounted for 311 deaths, followed by Ganjam (246), Sundergarh (155), Cuttack (137), and Puri (110).
Odisha now has 3,063 active cases, while 3,19,458 patients have recovered from the disease.
The state has thus far conducted over 64.37 lakh sample tests for COVID-19, including 27,690 on Monday. The positivity rate stands at 5.04 percent.
