Omar Abdullah has responded to the Indian Army's stunning revelation that its mountaineering expedition has sited mysterious footprints of the 'Yeti' - or abominable snowman.
Leveraging the Army's tweet, the National Conference chief has taken a sarcastic jibe at the BJP, saying that the party is probably trying to work out how exactly to work the 'Yeti' footprint finding into its election campaign.
The previous night, the Indian Army had tweeted on the spectacular finding with pictures:
The Yeti is also known in popular culture as 'The Abominable Snowman', owing to descriptions and unverified first person accounts of its large size and terrifying nature. It is elusive to the point of being mythical and is frequently cited in Nepalese and Tibetan folklore. It is usually described as being furry and ape-like, a snow counterpart to 'Big Foot' a similar mythical creature that is said to inhabit North America.
