Prime Minister Narendra Modi appeared on Monday, August 12 in a special episode of Discovery’s “Man Vs Wild” that highlights “issues related to environmental change". The episode was showcased in more than 180 countries across the world on the Discovery network of channels.

PM Modi also opened up about his experience in the Himalayas and said that it was the biggest strength of his life till date. Bear Grylls agrees with him by saying that the experience of living in the wild must have shaped his character for sure. The two then walk in the wild and Bear shows Modi how to use the weapon if they come face-to-face with a tiger, to which, Modi says, "My upbringing and sacraments won't allow me to kill the tiger but nevertheless, I will keep this weapon in my hand for you."
