"They(ED) have been troubling him since 2016, they still don't have any proof on the money laundering. This is political vendetta. My client's mother is very serious in London. I went to see her but when I came to know that even my office was raided, then I volunteered to appear before the court. The court has given us a date and Robert Vadra will come here, he is a law-abiding citizen. He will follow every rule. He has not done any mistake and has no foreign asset. This is all because election is here, it is a conspiracy to defame our family."

Speaking to reporters before the hearing of the case, Robert Vadra told the grounds on which he was seeking the anticipatory bail. He claimed he being targeted and subjected to false prosecution which has a colour of "political witch hunt", adding that he is a 'law-abiding citizen'
