RSS: 'Pakistan wasn't on globe before 1947, believe it won't be again'

In a staunch attack at Pakistan, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) ideologue Indresh Kumar said that the neighbouring country might not be on the world map in the coming years. Stepping up its attack on Pakistan, RSS claimed that the Imran Khan-led country would crumble under the ongoing 'separatist movements'. Addressing an event in NDMC convention centre, Indresh Kumar also said that India will be celebrating Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary in Lahore in the years to come. RSS further took down Imran Khan government pointing out that Pakistan was formed after partition and it is on verge of another split.

"Before 1947, Pakistan was not on the world map, I believe it will not be on the world map again. And, it can so happen that we will celebrate Bapu Jayanti and Hindi Diwas in Lahore, do you agree? Today, it lies at the verge of splitting into 5-6 pieces. Pashtunistan, Balochistan, Sindh want to break away. Experts predict this fate for Pakistan. It's growing weak day-by-day," Indresh Kumar said, as reported by news agency ANI.

Imran Khan against Article 370

Indresh Kumar's remarks have come in the aftermath of the slew of remarks made by Pakistan PM Imran Khan alleging PM Modi and RSS of pushing people towards extremism. On several occasion, he has targeted RSS, calling for a fight against RSS ideology in India. Imran Khan's desperate remarks have come in the wake of abrogation of Article 370 which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir, wherein the Pakistan PM has been protesting against it. Meanwhile, Indian Union Ministers-led by Home Minister Amit Shah have maintained that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) is a part of India and will be acquire soon. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh had also announced that dialogue between India and Pakistan will take place only on PoK.

RSS on Congress' 'preraks' agenda

RSS functionary Indresh Kumar also responded to Congress' idea of 'preraks', stating that the grand old party cannot have 'pracharaks' because to be one, it needs commitment and sacrifice.

"Pracharak is a mission if you do not have a mission, it won't survive. A mission doesn't run on drama. You need sacrifice, simplicity, dedication to start a mission. Congress was a part of Independence mission but when it left the mission it became the reason for partition of India. They promoted corrupt and criminal activity in the country," Indresh Kumar added (ANI).

While reports have stated that the Congress party is planning on having 'preraks' (motivators) for party's outreach activities across the country, its interim chief Sonia Gandhi turned down the proposal for the same after no consensus could be reached within the party leadership on the matter. The top brass of the Congress party, during a meeting chaired by Sonia Gandhi, called to continue with the old system of having trainers taking up the responsibility of propagating the party's ideology.
