In another case of a political leader insulting the Indian Army, Congress leader Sandeep Dixit has compared Indian Army chief General Bipin Rawat to a 'sadak ka gunda'(ruffian on the street).

Speaking to ANI, the Lok Sabha MP from East Delhi said, "Pakistan is only capable of such actions and statements, but it is bad when our Army Chief issues orders like ruffians on the street.(sadak ke gunde). Pakistan Army is a mafia, but why is our Army chief making such statements. We are cultured, we are mannered. We are soft spoken and powerful. Our country is considered a role model around the world. But if we resort to the same, it looks bad."

The statement has drawn outrage from around the nation, as people are now fed up of politicians insulting the Indian Army to make political gains. Also, should Congress not immediately take responsibility and sack this senior leader, who is also the son of Sheila Dixit, former Chief Minister of Delhi?

Or is the Congress party also against the Indian Army?

It has become a pattern now. Leaders say anything they want insulting the Indian Army and get away with it. This needs to be stopped now.
