After giving testimony before the digital, cultural, media and sports committee in the House of Commons, whistleblower Christopher Wylie has now made an explosive disclosure. Christopher Wyliehas  put out certain papers and documents on Twitter confirming that "SCL/CA works extensively in India and has offices there".

The tweet indicates that the Cambridge Analytica planned caste politics in India since the year 2003. It also confirms that Cambridge Analytica was using people's data to bring back the element of caste divide in Indian politics. It also shows that political parties in India conspired with Cambridge Analytica to divide the population of India on the basis of caste.

Earlier on Tuesday, Wylie named Congress as one of the parties that possibly worked with CA. He said,

 

"I believe their client was Congress but I know that they have done all kinds of project. I don’t remember a national project but I know regionally. India’s so big that one state can be as big as Britain. But they do have offices there, they do have staff. I believe I have some documentation on India which I can also provide the committee if that is something they are interested in."

Cambridge Analytica is accused of harvesting personal data of Facebook users to influence elections in several countries including the US presidential elections. It suspended its chief executive, Alexander Nix, for the same.
