Nearly 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans were martyred and many others injured in an IED blast that targeted their convoy on the Jammu-Srinagar highway on Thursday. Expressing solidarity with the security forces, Founder of Art of Living foundation and spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar urged PM Modi to "show the forces of terror their place".

Talking to Twitter, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, in strong words, wrote:

Unwilling to make concessions, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a strong stand against the 'despicable' Pulwama terror attack on CRPF convoy. Denouncing the neighbour for their terror-friendly activities, PM Modi gave Pakistan check a reality check by stating that 'it is difficult for them to run their daily expenses and is roaming around with a begging bowl'.

"Our neighbouring country is forgetting that this is new India, terrorist organisations and their lords will get it back. Our neighbouring country is going through a grave financial crisis, their situation is so bad that big countries are distancing from them. It has become difficult for them to run their daily expenses and is roaming around with a begging bowl."

Earlier on Thursday, a blast occured as a vehicle laden with explosives rammed into the CRPF convoy. Soon after the blast, shots were fired at the CRPF jawans. Pakistan- backed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad claimed responsibility for the attack.

Several countries from across the globe stood in support of India in the wake of a deadly terror attack. India has revoked the Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status that was unilaterally accorded to Pakistan over 20 years ago. The government has also resolved to isolate Pakistan on the global stage.
