Sikar coldest recorded place in Rajasthan at 4.5 deg C

Cold conditions prevailed in parts of Rajasthan on Sunday with Sikar recording the lowest temperature in the state, a MeT official said.

Cold conditions prevailed in parts of Rajasthan on Sunday with Sikar recording the lowest temperature in the state, a MeT official said.

While Sikar recorded a low of 4.5 degrees Celsius, Sriganganagar registered a minimum temperature of 6.5 degrees Celsius, Churu 6.8, Pilani 7.1, Eranpura Road 7.4, Dabok, Jodhpur and Swai Madhopur 8.4 each, Ajmer 8.7, Jaipur 9.6, Bikaner and Kota 10 each, Jaisalmer 10.9, Barmer 11.3 and Phalodi recorded a low of 13.8 degrees Celsius.

The maximum temperatures were recorded between 19.2 and 27.5 degrees Celsius.

The MeT department has forecast light rain in the Jaipur and Bikaner divisions in the next 24 hours.
