After a high-level strategy meeting of all CLP heads, State chiefs, National General Secretaries at the party's headquarters in Delhi, the Congress party has planned a massive rally against Centre on economic slowdown on November 30. Sources said that Congress interim chief Sonia Gandhi will lead the rally from Ram Lila Maidan in Delhi, and it will be called Bharat Bachao (Save India) rally. This comes even as the Congress party is unable to decide on government formation in the state of Maharashtra with Shiv Sena and NCP. Meanwhile, on Saturday, BJP is holding a protest outside Congress office in New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata demanding apology from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his Rafale lies.

Congress calls high-level strategy meet

Talking about the Congress protest against economic slowdown, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, earlier in the day said, "The CWC has announced that Congress leaders will take to the streets to protest against economic slowdown. While the situation is deteriorating the Centre does not care about it. While Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's husband is saying that the present govt has stopped the economic policies of Pandit Nehru, they have no understanding of economics."
