After sharing an intricately detailed "futuristic" plan for Tirupati Station on January 8, on Satuday Minister of Railways, Piyush Goyal unveiled a 'premium lounge' named Atithi (guest)
He shared a comprehensive plan of the lounge, giving the details of the interior designs of several rooms-- the entrance of the hall with a photo of Balaji Tirupati hung on the wall, a magazine rack, the large hall occupied with couches, recliners and the decor augmenting the aesthetics of the room. Two luxurious bathrooms for women and men.
While sharing these photos, the Union Minister rightly posed a question, "Railway station or 5-Star hotel?"
His tweet further read, "here is a surprise in store for devotees traveling to Balaji Temple, with 'ATITHI', a premium lounge at Tirupati Station set to be inaugurated soon"
Here are some of the responses-
Last week, Goyal through his tweet shared the visual plan of almost 2 minutes that includes a drop-off area, a block for a hotel, a proposed plan for a multiplex, a spacious railway station plaza and a spacious waiting arena which includes lobby and various food stalls, along with a departure concourse and the railway platform.
While sharing the plan Goyal described saying, "Travel will soon become easier for devotees seeking Lord Balaji's blessings in Tirupati."
Through this developmental project, Goyal even suggested that this plan would set "the futuristic plans for Tirupati Station which will serve as a benchmark for other stations across the country."
