A 12-year-old musical prodigy from Chennai has awed the world with his skills on the piano.

Lydian Nadhaswaram played a difficult piece called 'The Flight of the Bumblebee' originally composed by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov on the show ‘The World’s Best’

But he proved his worth and left the judges - Drew Barrymore, Faith Hill, and RuPaul - speechless through his rendition of the 'Flight of the Bumblebee'.

He played three versions of the piece, but he already had the judges and the audience eating by the palm of his hands after the first one.

He first played tune in the normal speed. Later, he challenged himself and asked Barrymore to increase the speed of the metronome to 208 beats per minute, stunning everybody.

His act was called "genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever seen live" by comedian James Corden.

Nadhaswaram received high praise, especially from fellow Indians and those from Chennai.

Some of his fans include actress Aishwarya Rajesh, former cricketer Sreesanth, and Better Call Saul actress Rhea Seehorn.
