US President Donald Trump raised quite some eyebrows with his tweet, following the arrest of Mumbai 26/11 terror attacks mastermind and UN-designated terrorist Hafiz Saeed by Pakistan authorities on July 17. Trump in his insensible tweet had claimed that it was the "great pressure" (from the US) exerted over the last two years that led to his 'sham' arrest in Pakistan. Donald Trump had also said that the "so-called mastermind of the Mumbai terror attacks has been arrested after a ten year search".

Giving a hilarious twist to the US President's tweet, BJP leader Sambit Patra shared a funny animated cartoon video on his Twitter, exposing Pakistan's sham in the name of Hafiz Saeed's arrest.

In the animated video, Trump can be seen video-calling Pakistan authorities in which he was shown that the JuD chief is behind bars by the neighbouring country. They tell Trump that they have arrested Saeed. However, on the other side of the phone, the truth was beyond the virtual reality.

Significantly, when Pakistan's side is revealed in the video, Hafiz Saeed is seen holding a fake cardboard cutout of prison bars, while a hand is seen doing the video call. Interestingly, in the animated video, a Pakistan Army officer can be seen with a plate of food (which appears to be biryani) in his hands. He can be seen winking at the end of the video.

In the caption, Sambit Patra writes "This is called... cheating someone".

This development has come in the context of a number of arrests being made by Imran Khan government of Hafiz Saeed, after being pressurised by the international communities to take action against terror activities and terrorists perpetrating in Pakistan.

Trump was brutally slammed by US House Foreign Affairs Committee which gave a reality check to the US President, saying that Pakistan was never searching for Saeed for 10 years, adding that he was living freely on Pak soil. It also suggested Trump to hold his claps until the terrorist is convicted by Pakistan authorities for his crimes. The US Committee also gave an account of the times when Pakistan arrested Hafiz Saeed owing to international pressures, however, re-released him every time they arrested him. Here's an account of the times he was arrested:

  1. December 2001
  2. May 2002
  3. October 2002
  4. August 2006 (twice)
  5. December 2008
  6. September 2009
  7. January 2017
