Unnao rape case: UP jail admin to probe Republic's videos of Kuldeep Sengar's aide offering money to cops

In a major impact due to Republic TV's investigation into the Unnao rape case survivor's accident which exposed local leader Rinku Shukla the close aide of Unnao rape accused Kuldeep Singh Sengar offering money to a  police officer while visiting Sengar in UP's Sitapur jail, the UP jail administration, on Thursday, has ordered inquiry into all three videos shown on Republic TV.

In a major impact due to Republic TV's investigation into the Unnao rape case survivor's accident which exposed local leader Rinku Shukla the close aide of Unnao rape accused Kuldeep Singh Sengar offering money to a  police officer while visiting Sengar in UP's Sitapur jail, the UP jail administration, on Thursday, has ordered inquiry into all three videos shown on Republic TV.

Earlier in the day, Shukla had admitted his wrong deed in live conversation with Republic Media Network Editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami on Republic Bharat's 'Poochta hai Bharat'.

Sengar's aide admits offering money

Denying all bribery allegations, Shukla admits offering money to the UP Police official for having tea.

"I gave the police guy 10-20 rupees to have a cup of tea. I did not bribe him. I don't have any work from him. No other intent," says Shukla.

After continuously being questioned about his alleged bribery, Shukla finally admits that he was wrong asks forgiveness. He further admits meeting Sengar in jail, a week before the accident while adding that he had never visited the Unnao rape victim's house.

" I never went to the victim's house. I don't even know her house. You can check my mobile location if needed."

Republic accesses 'bribe' video

Earlier in the day, a series of  five videos had been accessed by Republic Bharat from two days before the accident in which Shukla is seen allegedly bribing the police.

Video 1:

It can be seen that visitors who are allegedly Sengar's close aides come out from the jail at midnight and even try to hide their faces.

Video 2:

It can be seen, as per sources' information, that Sengar's men are waiting outside the jail. Sources also said that one of the men seen in the video is a BJP leader.

Video 3:

In this video, one of the alleged aides is seen handing over discreetly to a policeman. Sources have said that the aide was bribing the cops and was having late-night meetings with Sengar.

Supreme Court orders transfer of Unnao cases to Delhi, directs CRPF to protect rape-survivor & family

On Wednesday, the Supreme Court transferred all the five cases in the Unnao incident. It has ordered the CBI to finish the probe in the accident in seven days and seek for additional seven days time if required. It also directed the lower court in Delhi to fast-track the hearing and finish the trial within 45 days in the Unnao rape cases.

It has ordered protection for rape-survivor and her family by the CRPF and also directed the U.P government to give her interim compensation of Rs 25 lakhs. Following this development, BJP finally expelled the Unnao rape accused MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar from the party.

Unnao victim's Accident:

Earlier on Sunday, a car in which the survivor of the Unnao rape case, her family and lawyer were traveling was hit by an over-speeding truck in Rae Bareli on Sunday, killing victim's two aunts while leaving her and her advocate critically injured, police said.

The family was allegedly visiting the Unnao rape victim's uncle,  who is currently in Raebareli jail. The police are currently investigating the circumstance under which the accident has occurred. Sources also report that a truck had allegedly hit the victim's car and the truck.
