Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said that the BJP does not have the "courage" to do Hindu-Muslim politics in Delhi as the AAP has changed the narrative by bringing focus on issues of health and education. Lauding the work done by his government, he claimed that even BJP and Congress workers would vote for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Delhi Assembly polls next year.

"The BJP does not have the courage to do Hindu-Muslim politics in Delhi as we have changed the narrative of politics in this country and brought focus on education and health. We have forced the BJP to talk about issues of health and education and it is very big thing," Kejriwal told at a gathering of party volunteers at Sadar Bazaar here.

No corruption in party

He asserted that every Delhi resident has been benefited by his government's policies.

"The work done by the Delhi Government has earned us respect. Now when you tell people that you are associated with the Aam Aadmi Party, people look up to you," the AAP supremo told the party cadre.

The Chief Minister claimed his government had reduced pollution in Delhi by 25% and brought down dengue cases from 15,500 in 2015 to 645 in 2019. On the Centre not granting him permission to travel to Denmark to attend the C40 Summit early this month, CM Kejriwal said that no one invited BJP Mayors to such prestigious conferences because "everyone knows the reality of the MCD".

"The BJP did not let me go, but I was happy that the organisers asked me to participate through video conferencing. This is a matter of pride not just for me but for entire Delhi," he said. He claimed that the Delhi Government's work gained more popularity after the Ministry of External Affairs refused political clearance for his visit. Chief Minister Kejriwal told the volunteers that they will never hear about corruption in the party or the government till he is alive.

"One thing I want to assure you is that you will never hear about corruption or dishonesty in the party or in the government run by us till I am alive," he said.
