BSF arrests Pak national for illegal border crossing in Guj, recovers drone in Amritsar

BSF caught 30-year-old Pakistani, Mehboob Ali, for illegal border crossing, also with Punjab Police, recovered drone with 500g heroin

Border Security Force (BSF) officials apprehended a 30-year-old Pakistani national for illegally infiltrating the border on September 24 in Gujrat’s Bhuj District. The individual, identified as Mehboob Ali, hails from the Badin district in the Sindh province of Pakistan. According to BSF reports, 'On September 23, a BSF patrol observed suspicious movement near the India-Pakistan border. A team immediately reached the spot and arrested a Pakistani national. He has been identified as Mehboob Ali, 30, son of Mohammad Yusuf, resident of Sirani, Badin District, Sindh.' An ongoing investigation is being conducted to gather further information, as per the ANI report.

In a collaborative effort between BSF and Punjab Police, a joint operation led to the recovery of a Pakistani drone, a Chinese quadcopter of model DJI Mavic three, along with a packet suspected to contain Heroin with a net weight of approximately 500 grams, on the outskirts of Village Mahawa in Amritsar district, as confirmed by BSF officials.
