'O Paneerselvam still has desperate chief minister aspirations, he wanted to sideline Edappadi K. Palaniswami,' says TTV Dhinakaran

The volatile state of Tamil Nadu politics after the demise of former AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa led to several political dramas unfurled in the state starting from Kuvathur resort politics to the dramatic floor test. The last year was smooth for both EPS and OPS since the government is stable and the 18 MLAs case also remains status quo.

Ahead of the most anticipated 18 MLAs case verdict, expelled AIADMK leader and Amma Makkal Munnetra Kalagam deputy general secretary TTV Dhinakaran had made a startling revelation that deputy CM OPS met him during July 2017 for a compromise, TTV Dhinakaran said that OPS wanted to dump EPS and join Sasikala camp again to become Chief Minister. He also stated that OPS is still trying to talk with TTV Dhinakaran through various background channels and trying to finish off EPS.

Dhinakaran said, "He is still trying to communicate with me through other people. Even now, it is happening. There was an attempt last week also. He is making allegations against me in public and calling me a betrayer, but is also trying to have back-channel talks with me" TTV told that OPS has CM aspirations. That’s why he is trying all these tricks.

He also expressed that he would not join either OPS or EPS at any cost since they would do anything to be in the power. Dhinakaran also told that OPS regretted for talking against Sasikala during the Dharma Yutham time.

However, the leaders from OPS team responded saying that TTV Dhinakaran is trying to stimulate a fight between OPS & EPS & this will not happen at any time, the last time when OPS met TTV Dhinakaran was when Amma was alive.TTV is trying to play tricks to divide both OPS & EPS which will not happen.

When reporters asked why should TTV Dhinakaran reveal this matter after one & half years, TTV told that he doesn't want to reveal this at all, but this is the time to expose the double standards of OPS and he should not approach him after this. TTV Dhinakaran also said that this AIADMK government in the state is running with the blessing of BJP government and even a layman can understand that.

This sparked a major controversy within AIADMK again ahead of the 18 MLAs case verdict. TTV Dhinakaran who was not in the media limelight for few days is back in the limelight now after this startling revelation about this alleged secret meet.
