Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha jibed at the BJP on the issue of an All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) leader announcing the end of the party’s alliance with the BJP in Tamil Nadu. He said the ruling party at the centre attempting to break the I.N.D.I.A bloc has been crushed into pieces. Notably, the AIADMK on Monday (September 18) said that it is not in alliance with the BJP amid the bickering relations between the two parties. The AIADMK also claimed that K Annamalai is unfit to be the BJP state president.

Raghav Chadha who was suspended from the Rajya Sabha by the speaker during the monsoon session said, “Whenever someone tried to break 'I.N.D.I.A', they themselves broke and disintegrated. The same thing happened today. Our INDIA alliance was strong yesterday and is strong even today, but sadly the NDA which throws stones at other people's houses could not save its own house.”

AIADMK leader called off alliance with BJP in Tamil Nadu

AIADMK leader D Jayakumar said that to snap ties with BJP is not his stand but his party's stand. He also claimed that the BJP cadres want an alliance with AIADMK but Annamalai is against it. Speaking to media, Jayakumar said, "BJP is not in alliance with AIADMK. We will decide about the alliance during the elections only. This is not my personal view. This is our party's stand. BJP cadres want an alliance with the AIADMK but Annamalai (TN BJP President K Annamalai) doesn't want an alliance. He always criticises our leaders. He is unfit to be BJP state president."

The party slammed Annamalai, "Our party has his (Annadurai) name. To promote himself, he belittles Periyar. He didn't budge even after condemnation. It is against coalition dharma; no AIADMK worker will accept this. He is keen only on promoting him. What right have you got to talk about Periyar, EPS (Palaniswami), Amma (Jayalalithaa), and MGR. AIADMK workers will never accept this," he added. Furthermore, he said that AIADMK has nothing to lose over coalition-related development. "They are the losers," he said targeting the saffron party.
